About Me
I have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Master's in Museum Leadership from Bank Street College of Education. An avid preservationist, I'm well-known for the many talks, videos, and appearances I've made relating to New York City architectural history and preservation. I'm an Artist Member of the prestigious Salmagundi Club in Greenwich Village.
As a video producer with my own company, I've won many awards for my work and have been named "Best of Manhattan" three times--an honor I cherish.
Born and raised in New York City, I've also lived for big chunks of time in Italy - the land of my ancestors.
My art and photographs reflect my background completely.

my whole life
Visual Artist
The relationship between the built environment and the space it fills has always fascinated me - particularly when dealing with antique buildings built of natural materials - often sourced locally - and worked by hand - and the transformations wrought by time.
My visual art - almost entirely pen and ink - reflects this obsession of a building's past and present, its physical texture, the hidden messages often in clear sight and the fantasies it inspires
Education
Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY
Bachelor's of Architecture
My education in Architecture provided me with a lifelong perspective not only in observing the built environment, but in asking "Why?" about, literally, everything.
My training in Architectural Rendering with the legendary Al Lorenz opened the window of my signature style of drawing for me - inspired by 19th Century etchings and prints.
2014 - 2016
Bank Street College of Education
Master's in Museum Leadership
My degree from Bank Street expanded my awareness and ability to communicate - which I believe all successful art does. As a Bank Street grad, I realize each and every person has their own unique learning style. It's my responsibility as a creative to access and challenge it.
